Details of the Job/Internship

Propelld is hiring a Corporate Legal Manager with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Bengaluru. This is a high-impact role supporting core lending operations, with responsibility for structuring, drafting, and negotiating financial and lending agreements in line with business and regulatory requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for co-lending transactions with banks and NBFCs.
• Draft and review securitisation transaction documents, including Pass-Through Certificates (PTC) and Direct Assignment (DA).
• Prepare and negotiate debt instruments such as facility agreements, deeds of hypothecation, corporate guarantees, and related security documents.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including credit, compliance, finance, and business teams to understand requirements and provide legal support.
• Liaise with external counsels, lenders, and financial institutions to ensure timely and compliant execution of transactions.
• Ensure documentation complies with applicable legal, regulatory, and RBI guidelines.
• Support due diligence, risk mitigation, and legal compliance checks related to lending activities.

Eligibility

• 3+ years of relevant experience in the lending or financial services space.
• Strong legal knowledge and prior exposure to co-lending structures, PTC/DA documentation, and debt and borrowing transactions.
• Prior experience in a FinTech, NBFC, or banking environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
