Details of the Job/Internship

Propelld is hiring for the position of Corporate Legal Manager with 3+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents for:
• Co-lending transactions with Banks and NBFCs.
• Securitisation deals, including Pass-Through Certificates (PTC) and Direct Assignment (DA) structures.
• Debt instruments such as Facility Agreements, Deeds of Hypothecation, Corporate Guarantees, and related security documents.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including credit, compliance, finance, and business units to align legal documentation with business requirements.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, lenders, and financial institutions to facilitate timely and compliant execution of transactions.
• Ensure all legal documentation is in strict compliance with RBI guidelines, applicable laws, and regulatory standards.
• Support due diligence processes, assess legal risks, and contribute to compliance and mitigation strategies for lending operations.

Eligibility

• 3+ years of relevant experience in the lending or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in:
• Co-lending structures
• PTC/DA documentation
• Debt and borrowing transactions
• Prior experience with a FinTech, NBFC, or banking institution is highly preferred.
• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership work environment.

Salary/Stipend
