Details of the Job/Internship
Shangrila Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Corporate Legal Manager with experience of 3–7 years to join their office in Andheri, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and regulatory research across corporate law, commercial law, payment systems regulations, and related frameworks.
- Prepare structured notes, opinions, and issue briefs based on research findings.
- Draft, review, and finalise legal and commercial documents including NDAs, MoUs, service agreements, engagement letters, and compliance-related documentation.
- Assist in regulatory compliance by maintaining statutory records, compliance trackers, internal repositories, and documentation.
- Prepare due diligence reports, compliance checklists, regulatory matrices, and background notes.
- Interpret circulars, notifications, public notices, and policy amendments and assess their impact on client operations.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, consultants, and advisors on litigation-related documentation and submissions.
- Support senior leadership with legal research, risk assessment, and documentation for corporate and regulatory matters.
- Maintain confidentiality, documentation discipline, and quality control across legal and compliance work.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM (Corporate / Commercial Law preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in corporate legal, paralegal, or compliance advisory roles.
- Strong grounding in corporate and commercial law.
- Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail and structure.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity, discretion, and organisational discipline.
- Ability to work in a consulting-style, multi-client environment.
- Prior experience with consulting firms, CA firms, compliance advisory firms, or in-house corporate legal teams is preferred.
