Details of the Job/Internship

Statiq is hiring a Corporate Legal Manager with a minimum of 3 years of PQE to join their office in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts to protect the company’s interests.
• Assess liability risks related to proprietary data, trademarks, Intellectual Property (IP), and data security.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties, including charging hosts, real estate partners, and external counsel.
• Collaborate with tech teams to identify potential IP and coordinate with law firms for registration.
• Standardize the contracting process for the organization to streamline repeat business engagements.
• Assist the secretarial team with board meetings, committees, and AGMs, following up on action points.
• Stay updated on regulatory or statutory changes and ensure all policies are committee-approved.
• Evaluate non-standard terms and conditions in business processes to mitigate potential exposure.

Eligibility

• LLB degree from a reputed college.
• Minimum of 3 years PQE handling legal matters in a startup or technology sector organization.
• Demonstrated skill in effective verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.
• High-quality drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently within a matrixed organization and handle high-pressure situations.
• Desirable: Knowledge of RBI & FEMA regulations.
• Familiarity with the Fund-Raising Process and associated legal compliances.
