Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Communications is hiring a Manager – Corporate Legal to support legal regulatory affairs, manage regulatory issues within assigned regions, and track matters relating to licensing, numbering, compliance, and interactions with regulators and government officials.
Role and Responsibilities
- Submit information and respond to queries from regulatory bodies.
- Plan, undertake, and oversee regulatory inspections.
- Prepare regulatory reports.
- Liaise with global business teams to obtain financial, network, and service information.
- Analyze report data, seek clarifications, and draft explanations of variances.
- Project manage all reporting activities and regulatory fee payments.
- Maintain databases for regulatory reports, licenses, and fee payments.
- Manage regulatory exemption certificate work.
- Maintain the trademark and patent portfolio.
- Conduct IP awareness sessions.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies regarding pre-submission strategies, compliance requirements, regulatory pathways, and follow-up on pending submissions.
Eligibility
- Relevant years of experience in regulatory.
- Expertise in payments regulation, particularly related to domestic and cross-border funds transfers.
- Experience in managing regulatory affairs in a technology service organization.
