Details of the Job/Internship
Biocon Biologics is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with 6–7 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and close various agreements including NDAs, term sheets, shareholder and subscription agreements, and investment documents.
- Ensure compliance with investment and finance agreements.
- Provide legal opinions and conduct legal research.
- Liaise with internal departments and external counsels to ensure timely closure of legal matters.
- Advise business teams on a wide range of corporate legal issues.
- Support other legal tasks as assigned by the manager.
Eligibility
- BA LLB/BSL LLB and/or LLM from a reputed law school.
- 6–7 years of post-qualification experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm, focusing on PE, debt, M&A, and general corporate matters.
- Knowledge of laws related to pharmaceuticals, FEMA, SEBI, company law, IP, and competition law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
