Details of the Job/Internship
Biocon Biologics is hiring a Legal Counsel – Corporate Legal with 6–7 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of legal agreements including NDAs, term sheets, shareholder and subscription agreements.
- Ensure compliance with finance and investment contracts.
- Conduct legal research and provide opinions on various business matters.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel for timely execution of legal assignments.
- Advise stakeholders on corporate legal issues.
- Support the legal team in other responsibilities as assigned.
Eligibility
- 6–7 years of post-qualification experience as in-house counsel or with law firms (preferably in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors).
- BA LLB / BSL LLB and/or LLM from a reputed law school.
- Strong understanding of corporate, contract, and investment law.
- Experience with FEMA, SEBI, IP, and competition laws.
