FashionTV India is hiring a Corporate Litigation – Arbitration Specialist to join its legal team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage arbitration processes, including brief preparation, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
- Represent the company in disputes with franchisees, partners, and third parties.
- Develop arbitration and mediation strategies to minimise litigation risks.
- Oversee corporate litigation involving contracts, IP, commercial agreements, and franchises.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Advise on franchise compliance, brand protection, and enforcement of brand standards.
- Safeguard FashionTV’s IP, reputation, and legal interests.
- Monitor legal trends to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Train franchise managers and internal teams on legal policies and risk prevention.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM from an accredited law school.
- Registered member of the Bar.
- Extensive experience in corporate litigation with a focus on arbitration.
- Proven experience in IP and franchise-related disputes, preferably global.
- Knowledge of domestic and international arbitration laws.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Industry experience in fashion, media, or entertainment is a plus.
