Details of the Job/Internship

FashionTV India is hiring a Corporate Litigation - Arbitration Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their legal team in Santacruz (West), Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of arbitration processes, including briefs, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Represent the company in disputes involving franchisees and third parties.
• Develop and implement strategies for arbitration, mediation, and settlements.
• Oversee corporate litigation related to contracts, IP, and franchise relationships.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Advise on legal compliance in franchising, IP, and commercial contracts.
• Handle franchise-related disputes and ensure legal documentation aligns with brand standards.
• Protect intellectual property and manage legal risks.
• Advise General Counsel on legal trends and risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and train stakeholders on legal and compliance issues.

Eligibility

• LLB or LLM from an accredited law school.
• Membership in the Bar.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate litigation, with a focus on arbitration, intellectual property law, and franchising.
• Proven track record in managing complex arbitration cases, preferably in the fashion, media, or entertainment sectors.
• Expertise in franchise-related disputes, especially in global and cross-border contexts.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international arbitration laws and procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Preferred: Experience in fashion or media industries and multilingual proficiency.
