Details of the Job/Internship

Peritum Partners is hiring a Corporate Litigation Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. The role involves handling contentious matters before the NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT, and other forums, focusing on insolvency, recovery proceedings, and banking litigation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Appear before courts and tribunals.
• Draft pleadings related to IBC, SARFAESI, and the Recovery of Debts Act.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case notes, briefs, and client updates.
• Coordinate with clients, senior counsels, and internal teams for case management.
• Attend client meetings and assist in strategy formulation.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• 2–3 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Sound understanding and interest in insolvency and banking laws preferred.
• Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn and appear regularly in court.

Salary/Stipend
