Details of the Job/Internship
Boston Institute of Analytics is hiring a Corporate Litigation Lawyer with over 10 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage all litigation stages from evaluation to appeal.
- Draft and finalize pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
- Represent the company in courts, tribunals, and ADR forums.
- Offer legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Review and assess business/legal documents for litigation risks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external legal counsel.
- Identify and mitigate legal liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and company policies.
- Report litigation progress and maintain legal dashboards.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized law school; LL.M. is a plus.
- Valid license to practice law in India (Sanad mandatory).
- 10+ years of experience in litigation and advisory roles.
- Knowledge of civil, criminal, corporate, contract, and commercial law.
- Familiarity with IP laws is an advantage.
- Proficient in legal research tools like Manupatra, SCC Online.
