Details of the Job/Internship
Kroll is hiring for the position of Corporate Paralegal to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary custodian for corporate records and minute books, handling all aspects of entity management including annual compliance and ad-hoc requests.
- Support corporate governance activities such as director/officer appointments and resignations, Powers of Attorney, and beneficial ownership register maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for corporate filings, license registrations, and renewals.
- Assist with SEBI compliance, reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and legal documentation databases.
- Support legal and regulatory due diligence for prospective and ongoing client engagements.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assist in implementing required compliance measures.
- Respond to stakeholder queries and coordinate with external auditors and regulators.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and precise execution of corporate compliance tasks.
- Uphold the integrity of corporate records and ensure data accuracy.
Eligibility
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, legal, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in legal, corporate compliance, or governance roles.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of corporate documents including certificates of incorporation, resolutions, and governance records.
- Familiarity with regulatory filings and legal documentation, including SEBI compliance.
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism with the ability to interact confidently with senior management.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in team-based, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general digital fluency.
