Details of the Job/Internship
Wellversed is hiring a full-time Legal Specialist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join their office in Gurugram. The role requires drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts and ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, agreements, and business transactions.
- Liaise with external counsel to manage and streamline legal processes.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, and related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee intellectual property management, policy development, and compliance.
- Maintain accuracy and legal compliance of all documents and contracts.
Eligibility
- LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, tax law, intellectual property law, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and resources.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-experts.
