Details of the Job/Internship
A leading international law firm is hiring a Corporate Real Estate Lawyer, Associate (2–5 PQE) to join its London-based Real Estate team. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile and complex UK and international property transactions within a top-tier, collaborative environment. The Real Estate practice is recognised as a market leader and advises on major office, retail, leisure, residential, mixed-use, hotel, industrial, investment, development, and asset management matters. Clients include institutional investors, developers, funds, corporates, and public sector bodies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals, development projects, lettings, and asset management matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, and related real estate documentation.
- Managing matters independently with appropriate supervision and ensuring efficient progress.
- Acting as a day-to-day client contact and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
- Supporting business development initiatives, including pitches and client relationship activities.
- Working closely with partners and senior associates on complex transactions.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Maintaining high standards of technical accuracy and compliance with quality and risk management protocols.
- Identifying and escalating potential legal and commercial risks appropriately.
Eligibility
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in real estate law.
- Experience ideally gained at a leading law firm.
- Strong exposure to investment, development, and asset management transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Commercially aware with an understanding of market trends.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative and client-focused with a commitment to excellence.
Salary/Stipend
