Details of the Job/Internship
As the Corporate Secretarial Paralegal and Legal Administrator you will report to the Manager, Legal Operations as the newest member of their small but mighty team of legal operators supporting Priceline’s global in-house legal team.
You will partner with your colleagues and other key collaborators, including across the Booking Holdings family of brands, to ensure that Priceline’s corporate and legal objectives are met. You will support and improve operational processes to ensure their Legal Team is efficiently delivering on critical and high-value matters across Priceline, including but not limited to governance and corporate secretarial support, litigation support, and legal administration.
The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient individual with great interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an eye for continuously improving processes to maximize our efficiency.
Role and Responsibilities
- Company Secretarial Services. Assist the legal team with new entity creation, dissolution, and administration as required. Oversee and manage ad hoc and recurring corporate filings and licensing requirements for regulated services,abouto Priceline companies in the US and abroad, and establish a framework to ensure these are actioned promptly; partner with our parent company’s corporate secretarial team on entity management requirements and oversee appointed corporate agents. Maintain corporate organizational charts for Priceline group companies in our entity management software.
- Litigation & Third-Party Dispute Support: Create and iterate on cost-effective litigation and third-party dispute support and e-discovery processes, including responses to third-party subpoenas and other document requests. Manage escalation and delivery of third-party dispute notices. Implement and manage effective processes for legal holds, and coordinate with the Compliance Program Director on records retention. Ensure settlements are made promptly, and partner with our BHI colleagues in onboarding a new legal hold platform to Priceline.
- Intellectual Property Portfolio Management. Oversee pa portfolio of intellectual property and work with outside counsel as needed to maintain a portfolio and advance the strategic IP needs of the company.
- Knowledge management and process improvements. Own legal shared inboxes and drives to ensure requests are routed promptly and efficiently, and knowledge bases are accurate and well organized. Support ongoing process improvements to optimize legal performance, including building out an internal legal confluence page to support the tactical day-to-day, organizing document archives, documenting, refining standard operating procedures, and supporting project management needs.
- Legal administration and Group-wide partnership: Facilitate communications and deliverables between Priceline’s Legal Team and our parent company and sibling brands to help ensure deliverables, obligations, and strategic goals are met. Route legal notices and requests, raise documents for signature and filing, support legal vendoonboardingng, and provide other departmental administrative support as needed. Support a high-volume global legal team with administrative day-to-day tasks as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent legal certifications and experience; preferably a company secretary (ICSI- ongoing or completed) required; Paralegal’s welcome; experience working in a multinational corporation strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as, paralegal or comparable legal administration required
- Experience handling a diverse set of tasks promptly and with ease, including experience working across different jurisdictions and with different cultures.
- Experienced in company secretarial work to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions
- Strong Google suite prior experience with relevant legal, project management and operational tools (e.g Legal Tracker, Exterro, Jira, Confluence, Docusign, and GEMS) strong plus
- Prior experience working directly with key partners throughout an organization including senior leadership required
- Must have good judgment, high integrity, and strong communication skills and be very comfortable navigating deadlines and completing tasks in a high volume, high pressure environment
- In-house experience in a technology company legal department a plus
- A strong multitasker. The ability to effectively work across various time zones and balance challenging demands is critical.
- Ability to problem solve, demonstrating creative and independent thinking to find answers to day to day practical issues.

- This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.This role supports colleagues in the NE United States, required to ensure time-zone overlap with stakeholders. This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office in Priceline’s Mumbai office.
