Details of the Job/Internship
The Asia Group, LLC is hiring a Corporate Secretarial Paralegal with 5–8 years of experience to join their team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the incorporation of foreign subsidiaries and required ongoing legal filings for TAG and its affiliated corporate entities.
- Assist with client and vendor KYC and onboarding processes, specifically with respect to ethics and compliance requirements and TAG’s corporate structure.
- Maintain and manage ethics and compliance documentation and processes.
- Review, track, and organize contracts including signature management and filing.
- Assist the Legal Department in maintaining and communicating with a global network of outside counsel and legal vendors.
- Monitor and track legal and compliance requirements in jurisdictions where TAG operates.
- Collaborate daily with TAG’s U.S.-based legal team, providing paralegal support across multiple time zones.
- Support audits, government filings, legal research, and documentation related to global operations.
- Assist with governance and shareholding documentation for TAG entities.
Eligibility
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 5–8 years of professional experience in a corporate paralegal, secretarial, or compliance role.
- Proficient in company incorporation procedures and corporate governance documentation.
- Experience managing legal contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining records.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
- Comfortable operating across different time zones and within a remote or hybrid team environment.
- Project Management: Capable of independently driving legal and compliance processes from initiation to completion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professional Conduct: High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential documents and sensitive information.
