Details of the Job/Internship

LearningMate is hiring a Corporate Regulatory Filing Executive with 3+ years of experience to join their Legal Team in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and file annual reports, franchise tax returns, and other required documents with Secretaries of State to maintain Good Standing status.
• Monitor compliance calendars and track filing deadlines across multiple U.S. states.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external registered agents for timely submissions.
• Maintain corporate records including certificates of Good Standing, entity registrations, and filing confirmations.
• Research and interpret state-specific requirements for corporate entities, LLCs, and partnerships.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to filings or corporate status.
• Support corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and financing by providing compliance documentation.
• Develop compliance checklists and reporting dashboards to provide filing status visibility to leadership.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting, or a related field.
• Paralegal certification or Company Secretary background preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in U.S. corporate compliance, regulatory filings, or entity management.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. state corporate laws and filing requirements (e.g., Delaware, California, New York).
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with regulators, registered agents, and internal stakeholders.
