Details of the Job/Internship
LearningMate is hiring a Corporate Regulatory Filing Executive with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and file annual reports and franchise tax returns with U.S. Secretaries of State.
- Monitor compliance calendars and proactively track filing deadlines across multiple states.
- Maintain accurate corporate records, entity registrations, and certificates of Good Standing.
- Research and interpret state-specific requirements for corporate entities, LLCs, and partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external registered agents for timely submissions.
- Support corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, by providing necessary compliance documentation.
- Develop reporting dashboards to provide leadership with visibility on regulatory filing status.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or Accounting (CS background or Paralegal certification preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in U.S. corporate compliance or regulatory filings.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. state corporate laws (e.g., Delaware, California, New York).
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with regulators and internal stakeholders.
