Details of the Job/Internship
Trilegal is hiring a Counsel with experience of 7–8 years to join its Projects practice in Gurgaon, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating project and commercial contracts, including PPAs, concession and licence agreements.
- Handling EPC, O&M, supply, fuel supply, and transmission agreements.
- Advising on government approvals and bid documents.
- Providing advice on regulatory, land acquisition, environmental, and sector-specific laws.
- Supporting project finance transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and financing documentation.
- Advising public and private sector clients such as developers, financial institutions, government authorities, contractors, and investors.
- Coordinating with internal teams on multidisciplinary matters.
- Assisting in business development, client pitches, industry research, and knowledge initiatives.
- Staying updated on regulatory frameworks, government policies, and sectoral reforms.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Overall experience of 7 to 8 years in projects, infrastructure, or energy-related legal work.
