Details of the Job/Internship

Blackbaud India is hiring a Corporate Legal Manager / Senior Legal Manager – Legal & Compliance with experience of 10–15 years to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide daily legal support for India operations, covering employment, HR, and corporate governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS, technology services, and procurement contracts.
• Advise on Indian regulatory mandates, including data privacy (DPDPA), anti-corruption, and corporate secretarial matters.
• Act as the primary liaison with the U.S. law department to align global legal strategies.
• Partner with the People & Culture team to manage employment law issues and employee relations.
• Develop and deliver internal training on compliance and contracting best practices.
• Manage external counsels in India for specialized legal requirements.
• Leverage and experiment with AI-enabled tools to enhance the efficiency of legal service delivery.

Eligibility

• Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized Indian university; LL.M. or international training is a plus.
• 10–15 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Background in both law firms and in-house roles, specifically within the Technology or SaaS sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Indian corporate, commercial, and labor laws.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate cross-border legal issues and work across different time zones.
• Openness to adopting AI technologies and new legal-tech productivity tools.
