McDermott International, Ltd is hiring a Counsel with 3+ years of litigation and claims management experience to join their office in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee litigation processes including strategy, pleadings, discovery, mediations, settlements, and trials.
- Handle a variety of legal matters such as commercial contracts, personal injury, property damage, environmental, insurance, and labor/employment issues.
- Assess claims, disputes, and other legal matters for financial disclosure and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with business units and senior management.
- Develop collaborative relationships with legal team and management.
- Manage multiple tasks and provide legal guidance to stakeholders.
- Review and analyze diverse legal documents.
Eligibility
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
- Good standing member of a Bar Association.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant litigation or claims management experience.
- Strong communication and professional representation skills.
- Ability to provide efficient legal solutions aligned with global strategies.
