Details of the Job/Internship
McDermott International Inc. is hiring a Counsel with a minimum of 3 years of litigation and claims management experience to join their office in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as legal advisor for the global Supply Chain Management (SCM) function.
- Oversee strategy, pleadings, discovery, mediations, settlements, and trials.
- Handle legal matters related to contracts, commercial law, personal injury, property damage, and employment issues.
- Assess and manage litigation, claims, and compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Communicate effectively with business units and management.
- Review and analyze various legal documents.
- Guide stakeholders and support company strategies.
Eligibility
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
- Member in good standing of a Bar Association.
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation or claims management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle diverse legal issues and provide practical solutions.
