Details of the Job/Internship
WSP in India is hiring an Experienced Professional, Counsel with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review a full range of construction contracts and associated legal documents.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on contract risks to colleagues in a timely manner.
- Proactively lead and manage contract negotiations with external parties.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with business units, clients, and external legal counsel.
- Maintain awareness of the legislative and regulatory environment affecting global operations.
- Balance commercial and operational imperatives with legal risk management.
- Support the Middle East legal division and report to management as required.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with a law degree.
- Minimum 5+ years of legal experience in a reputable law firm or in-house team specializing in construction law.
- Proficient in oral and written English with highly developed communication skills.
- Proven experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
- Previous exposure to Middle East clients or multinational construction companies is desirable.
