Details of the Job/Internship
Lekhak.app is hiring Court Certified Translators to join their office in New Delhi with a hybrid work model.
Role and Responsibilities
- Translate legal documents accurately between English and at least one Indian language.
- Certify translations to meet court requirements.
- Review and proofread translations for accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct research to verify and refine translated content.
- Collaborate with legal teams for quality output.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to legal and industry standards.
Eligibility
- Expertise in translation between at least one Indian language and English.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and court-certified translations.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with cultural understanding.
- Ability to handle confidential documents professionally.
- Certification as a professional translator or equivalent is required.
- Experience with translation tools and software is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid setup.
