India Law Offices LLP is hiring a Court Clerk with 5+ years of experience to join their office in New Delhi. The role involves handling court-related procedures, filing, and coordination. The successful candidate will manage legal documentation, track court schedules, and liaise with court officials.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the filing of legal documents, petitions, applications, and affidavits across various courts and tribunals.
- Monitor and track case listings, hearing dates, court orders, and deadlines.
- Appear in court as required for case filing, document submission, or liaising with court officials and registry staff.
- Maintain and update physical and digital case files and registers.
- Assist advocates and litigation teams with case-related logistics, including certified copy applications, file retrievals, and document notarizations.
- Handle e-filing on relevant court portals.
- Manage administrative tasks such as photocopying, document certification, and the service of notices.
Eligibility
- Possess a degree or diploma in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar court clerk role or as a legal assistant, preferably within a law firm or under senior counsel.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of court procedures, registry practices, and e-filing systems.
- Be proficient in MS Office and basic legal software.
- Be willing to travel to courts and tribunals regularly.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
