Salvors & Co. seeks a highly skilled and experienced crypto lawyer to join their legal team and contribute to their mission of navigating the legal complexities of this emerging industry.

Role and Responsibilities
- Legal Counsel: Provide expert legal advice and counsel on matters related to cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and digital assets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with cryptocurrency regulations and policies globally and ensure clients' compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Transaction Review: Review and draft legal documents for cryptocurrency transactions, including contracts, agreements, and token offerings (ICO/STO) documents.
- Token Classification: Assist clients in determining the regulatory classification of tokens (e.g., security tokens, utility tokens) and advise on appropriate regulatory compliance strategies.
- Intellectual Property: Manage intellectual property related to blockchain technology, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Litigation Support: Represent clients in cryptocurrency-related disputes and provide legal support for arbitration or litigation cases as necessary.
- Data Privacy: Advice on data privacy and security concerns related to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency transactions.
- Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on cryptocurrency-related investments, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Education: Keep the legal team and clients informed about cryptocurrency and blockchain law developments through regular updates, training, and presentations.
Eligibility
Qualifications
- Must have a law degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Specialization: Demonstrated expertise in cryptocurrency and blockchain law through prior work experience or additional qualifications (e.g., certifications, coursework). (PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY)
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal issues in crypto.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interactions and legal document drafting.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Ethical Conduct: Maintain high ethical standards and uphold the confidentiality of sensitive client information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with financial institutions, fintech companies, or cryptocurrency startups.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department specializing in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. (MANDATORY)
- Knowledge of international cryptocurrency regulations and cross-border legal issues.
