Details of the Job/Internship

C. B. Jain & Associates is hiring a CS Trainee to join their office in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role involving support in compliance activities, drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing corporate filings, performing due diligence, assisting in entity formation, handling corporate secretarial tasks, maintaining statutory records, and supporting corporate governance and private equity-related advisory work.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support compliance-related activities.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements.
• Manage corporate filings and statutory records.
• Perform due diligence exercises.
• Assist in entity formation and corporate secretarial functions.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance practices.
• Support advisory work related to private equity transactions and regulatory compliance.

Eligibility

• Enrollment in a recognised Company Secretaryship course.
• Strong knowledge of corporate secretarial practices, regulatory compliance, and Indian corporate laws.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, agreements, and conducting due diligence.
• Basic knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial principles.
• Experience or familiarity with private equity transactions is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in gaining practical exposure in corporate advisory and compliance.

Salary/Stipend
