Details of the Job/Internship
Khaitan Legal Associates is hiring CS Trainees/Executives with no prior experience to join its team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day corporate law and compliance matters.
- Conduct board and shareholder meetings and handle related documentation.
- Manage statutory filings, private placements, and rights issues.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Handle FEMA compliances.
- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence processes.
- Represent matters before regulatory authorities such as NCLT, ROC, RBI, and SEBI.
- Maintain statutory records and registers.
- Manage company incorporations, including approvals and registrations.
- Advise clients on CSR rules and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ICSI secretarial standards.
- Act as a point of contact for clients on governance and compliance matters.
- Conduct legal research on statutes and case laws.
Eligibility
- Candidates pursuing or recently completed CS.
- Preference for CS Professional or CS Professional Group 1 qualified candidates.
- Strong interest in corporate law, compliance, and governance.
