Details of the Job/Internship

Maharashtra Cyber’s Centre of Excellence is hiring a Cyber Law Trainer with at least 6 years of experience to join their office in Navi Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive training modules on the IT Act 2000, IPC provisions, and international cyber laws.
• Conduct specialized workshops and seminars for police officers, investigating authorities, and judicial stakeholders.
• Create high-quality training materials, including manuals, case studies, and e-learning resources.
• Provide legal consultation and guidance to active cybercrime investigation teams.
• Stay updated on evolving national and international legal precedents and regulations.
• Collaborate with global law enforcement bodies and legal experts to align training with best practices.
• Develop operational guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for legal aspects of investigations.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and detailed performance records.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
• 6 years of total professional experience, with at least 3 years specifically in cyber law, IT law, or digital forensics.
• Deep knowledge of the IT Act 2000, IPC, and other cybercrime-related legislation.
• Preferred: LLM with a specialization in Cyber Law or Criminal Law.
• Preferred: Certification in Digital Forensics or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Hindi.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and modern training tools.
