Details of the Job/Internship
Goldman Sachs is hiring a Legal, Data, Cyber & Privacy Law Attorney with significant experience to join its Technology Legal team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on privacy, data governance, and cybersecurity issues across APAC and globally.
- Review and manage cyber and data exposure incidents, including regulatory notifications.
- Advise on employee privacy, data subject rights, and data protection impact assessments.
- Review, draft, and update privacy policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Negotiate data protection and information security clauses in commercial agreements.
- Monitor developments in privacy and cybersecurity laws and support compliance readiness programs.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer.
- Significant experience advising on data protection and privacy laws in the APAC region.
- Experience handling cyber and data exposure incidents.
- Familiarity with privacy and cybersecurity regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- In-house financial institution experience and privacy certifications are preferred.
