Teams Squared is hiring for the position of Cybersecurity Lawyer to join their office Virtually.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of cybersecurity and cyber law matters. 
• Independently draft and review service agreements, technology agreements, licensing agreements, and other commercial contracts. 
• Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, specifically in the Australian Jurisdiction. 
• Conduct detailed research on cybersecurity laws and produce comprehensive reports. 
• Collaborate with various departments to identify legal requirements and develop actionable solutions. 
• Stay updated with the latest developments in cybersecurity and commercial law. 
• Advise clients on data protection, privacy laws, and breach response strategies. 
• Help structure and organize workflow and implement document management systems.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate degree in Law.
• A master’s degree from institutions in Australia or the UK is highly preferred. 
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity law and general commercial law. 
• Extensive experience in drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial agreements. 
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards. 
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a strategic outlook. 
• Superior communication skills, both written and spoken. 
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. 
• Exceptional English language proficiency.
