Alphastream.ai is hiring for the position of Data and Legal Analyst to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as a legal expert while also working as a business analyst in product development and innovation.
- Provide active support in client deliverables by defining and simplifying agreement terms and conditions.
- Scale and adapt to a growing client base and expanding product offerings.
- Contribute to white papers and review, edit, and enhance the work of colleagues.
- Interpret legal data and create structured taxonomies and templates.
- Document new legal developments and standardize reporting and disclosure formats.
- Compare and identify synergies between different legal frameworks.
- Work with legal agreements such as loan and bond agreements, prospectuses, and DRHPs.
- Possess a basic understanding of accounting, standard line items, and financial reporting.
- Develop innovative standards for legal documentation and presentation.
Eligibility
- Education: Graduation or post-graduation in Law (LLB, BA-LLB, Master’s in Law).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, depending on project requirements.
- Proactive approach in tracking milestones, KPIs, and delivering measurable, data-driven results.
- Strong cultural and ethical adherence with participation in corporate events.
- Expertise in legal terminologies with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-experts.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Thomson Reuters Practical Law, Law.com, and Law Insider is a plus.
