Details of the Job/Internship
WTW is hiring a Legal – Data Breach Incident Response Investigator to join their team in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Triage and record security incidents received from across the business.
- Review and validate facts and identify any missing or misstated information.
- Identify key contractual clauses to determine legal obligations.
- Coordinate with legal leads and stakeholders for incident response.
- Escalate severe incidents or SLA breaches as required.
- Follow best practices and guidelines for incident response.
- Maintain clear written communication with stakeholders.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for internal use.
Eligibility
- Experience collaborating across teams.
- Interest and growing knowledge in legal and privacy domains.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain SLAs.
- Proficiency in business and legal writing.
- Highly computer literate.
- Law degree, BSc with law component, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
- Privacy certifications are beneficial.
