Alphastream.ai is hiring a Senior Data & Legal Analyst to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret private credit agreements, including complex structures and inter-creditor arrangements.
- Extract and validate key legal and commercial terms such as covenants, pricing, collateral, and payment structures.
- Review and verify data extracted by junior analysts.
- Provide legal interpretation on clauses like covenants, defaults, and representations.
- Track and analyse financial metrics such as interest schedules and amortisation.
- Identify risks, anomalies, and inefficiencies in documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert for legal, product, and operations teams.
- Deliver clear summaries and insights for decision-making.
- Streamline documentation workflows and support automation initiatives.
- Develop legal data taxonomies and standardised templates.
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance document parsing tools.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
Eligibility
- Law degree or equivalent legal/financial qualification.
- Strong understanding of private credit structures, debt instruments, and legal terminology.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in document management systems and data tools.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
