Details of the Job/Internship

ResMed is hiring a Data Privacy & Compliance Specialist to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for global data subject requests.
• Support intake and response coordination for inquiries from regulators, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with governance projects related to privacy regulations across various jurisdictions.
• Track and support data incident response activities in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
• Contribute to policy and privacy notice implementation and reviews..
• Monitor and summarize changes in privacy laws impacting ResMed’s digital health solutions.
• Prepare privacy compliance resources and training materials.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business Studies (preferred)
• Experience in privacy governance, ideally within a multinational, law firm, or SaaS/medical device industry
• English language proficiency
• Knowledge of global data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, US state laws)
• IAPP certification (CIPP/CIPM) preferred
• Experience with privacy tools such as OneTrust is a plus
• Willingness to work with diverse teams and adjust to global time zones
