Details of the Job/Internship

M&G Global Services Private Limited is looking for a candidate for the position of Data Privacy Lawyer to join them at their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G plc's operational risk. 
• To review and draft Data Privacy clauses in Internal & Vendor Agreements.
• To support assessment and implementation of the India Data Protection Bill.
• To respond to queries and provide appropriate advice to M&G on all aspects of data privacy. 
• To support policy attestations and Management Reporting relating to Data Privacy.
• To cooperate and assist DPO in the fulfilment of their responsibilities, including escalating and seek the advice of the DPO as required.
• To champion and help embed the Privacy Policy and accompanying standards.
• To foster a Privacy culture within M&G plc. ‐ keeping Privacy in the front‐of‐mind.
