Details of the Job/Internship

WPP is hiring a Legal Counsel – Technology & Data with 4+ years of experience to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on technology products and associated risks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology, data, and advertising-related agreements.
• Track legal developments in technology and data privacy, including AI regulations.
• Collaborate with product, legal, and data governance teams globally.
• Develop internal templates, strategies, and training materials.
• Support legal trainees and contribute to legal team efficiency.

Eligibility

• 4+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Strong working knowledge of privacy laws.
• Ability to apply legal principles practically in a business context.
• Skilled in strategic thinking and prioritising multiple demands.
• Experience in drafting legal solutions for complex technology products.
• Advertising, digital media, or in-house experience is a plus.
