Details of the Job/Internship
Silver Oak University is hiring a Dean – Department of Law with 10–15 years of experience in legal education and academic administration to lead its law faculty in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Department of Law.
- Promote academic excellence and professional growth among faculty.
- Encourage research, publications, and development of research centers.
- Collaborate with university leadership to set and implement strategic goals.
- Manage departmental resources for sustainable growth.
- Build external relationships with legal professionals and institutions.
- Represent the department in forums, conferences, and networks.
- Oversee policy development, compliance, and daily administration.
- Promote diversity, inclusivity, and global engagement.
Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Law / LL.M.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in legal education and academic administration.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong research background with published work in legal journals.
- Experience in managing academic teams and mentoring researchers.
- Administrative experience in a law college or department.
