Details of the Job/Internship

Bajaj Finance Ltd. is hiring a Deputy Area Manager – Legal to oversee debt recovery litigation, legal vendor management, and customer dispute resolution across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh regions, while based in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• Achieve targets related to legal recovery actions.
• Drive fast-track legal processes: summons, warrants, attachments, executions.
• Coordinate and manage legal vendors and advocates.
• Ensure cost efficiency and compliance with legal procedures.
• Travel to assigned locations to review and enhance legal effectiveness.
• Handle customer escalations and police case issues.
• Provide legal support to collections team to improve recovery rates.
• Ensure timely submission of MIS reports and maintain audit compliance.

Eligibility

• Law graduate.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in financial services or debt recovery.
