Bajaj Finance Ltd. is hiring a Deputy Area Manager with 2–3 years of experience in legal to join their office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure speedy legal actions by securing Summons, Warrants, Attachment Warrants, and Executions for debt recovery.
- Manage and empanel external advocates/vendors to ensure high-quality legal representation and cost efficiency.
- Travel to assigned locations to monitor, check, and improve legal outcomes on the ground.
- Provide rapid legal support to the collections team to enhance recovery rates and facilitate rollbacks.
- Handle legal escalations from customers and manage issues related to police cases.
- Maintain genuine MIS reports and ensure strict adherence to internal audit compliance and controls.
- Drive cost-effective legal strategies while achieving assigned targets across various recovery parameters.
Eligibility
- Law Graduate (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in a legal role, preferably within the banking or NBFC sector.
- Strong understanding of civil and criminal legal procedures related to debt management.
- Experience in managing a network of external advocates and handling large-scale litigation portfolios.
- Ability to travel frequently to oversee legal operations in assigned jurisdictions (Telangana & AP).
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a focus on audit-ready documentation.
