Details of the Job/Internship

Bajaj Finserv is hiring for the position of Deputy Area Manager with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Greater Kolkata Area.

Role and Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned targets across legal and recovery metrics.
• Initiate prompt legal action including obtaining summons, warrants, attachment warrants, and executing legal procedures.
• Manage and coordinate with empaneled advocates and legal vendors.
• Travel across assigned locations in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh to monitor and improve legal outcomes.
• Identify, empanel, and manage external advocates.
• Ensure cost-efficient legal operations while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
• Prepare and maintain timely, accurate MIS reports and ensure audit readiness.
• Provide rapid legal support to collections teams to enhance recovery and reduce delinquencies.
• Handle customer legal escalations and police case interventions with sensitivity and legal precision.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes and strict compliance with audit and regulatory norms.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in financial services or collections
• Strong understanding of legal processes, court procedures, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions
