Details of the Job/Internship

Tata Motors Global Services Limited is hiring a Deputy General Manager – Legal with 12 years of experience to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor statutory compliance under labour, industrial, environmental, safety, and corporate laws.
• Oversee compliance across manufacturing plants, depots, warehouses, and sales offices, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Track legal and regulatory developments and update internal compliance frameworks accordingly.
• Manage and enhance the digital compliance reporting tool, including uploading updates and aligning it with regulatory changes.
• Ensure monthly governance meetings are held as per SOP and maintain minutes.
• Train users on compliance tools and supervise the compliance team across entities.
• Handle labour, civil, criminal, and other litigation, coordinate with advocates, and attend court hearings.
• Draft and negotiate agreements such as BTAs, purchase agreements, service agreements, NDAs, leases, licenses, and MoUs.
• Provide legal advice on labour matters, disciplinary actions, audits, inspections, and statutory notices.
• Work on special legal projects assigned periodically.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: LL.B. / LL.M.
• Experience: 12 years.
• Knowledge of automated compliance tools and experience in manufacturing organisations.
• Preferred experience in automotive, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi.
