Details of the Job/Internship
Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO) is hiring a Deputy Head Legal with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Korba, Chhattisgarh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the legal department.
- Provide legal advice to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
- Manage external counsel relationships.
- Conduct legal research and monitor legal developments.
- Support corporate governance and compliance.
- Drive legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
- Implement legal tech solutions and automation tools.
- Lead risk management and training programs.
- Advocate for the company in policy forums.
Eligibility
- LLB degree.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience.
- Expertise in corporate and commercial law, compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
