Details of the Job/Internship

Roundglass Living is hiring a Deputy Lead Legal with experience of 8+ years to join their office in Mohali. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation and drafting of wide-ranging commercial, technology, and strategic partnership contracts.
• Manage sports law matters, including player transfers, intermediary agreements, and governing body communications.
• Oversee legal aspects of media and entertainment, such as music licensing, distribution, and talent management.
• Handle the end-to-end Intellectual Property portfolio, including trademark filings, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for SaaS and data protection agreements, focusing on privacy and security risk assessments.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to leadership across various business verticals.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel to manage ongoing litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
• Develop and maintain standard templates and internal compliance frameworks to streamline operations.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed institute with at least 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Mandatory in-house legal experience.
• Prior experience in a tech start-up environment is highly preferred.
• Specialized knowledge of Sports Law or Media and Entertainment law is an added advantage.
