Bajaj Allianz General Insurance is hiring a Deputy Manager Corporate Legal to handle contract drafting, vetting, litigation, regulatory compliance, and corporate legal matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and manage contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents with vendors, service providers, agents, distributors, and banks.
- Track, examine, and act upon IRDAI regulations and ensure compliance.
- Draft policy terms, conditions, schedules, and product-related documents.
- Advise on Insurance, Central, State, property, labor, and criminal laws.
- Prepare suitable replies to IRDAI complaints and correspondence.
- Handle lease and leave & license agreements, and advise on condominium matters.
- Provide legal advice and ensure compliance across all business functions.
- Review, advise, and guide teams on contracts, agreements, and documents.
- Assist in preparing and structuring legal contracts to support business growth.
- Maintain MIS of contracts, agreements, and stamp papers.
- Support Head Corporate Legal in updating manuals and standard documents.
- Conduct regular review of litigation cases, recommend corrective actions, draft petitions, plaints, replies, WS, and liaise with advocates.
- Handle HR, staff, and labor law matters including disciplinary issues and policy drafting.
- Manage claims-related litigation and criminal cases involving the company.
- Prepare responses to police notices, legal notices, and crime branch notices.
- Maintain MIS and ensure compliance with TAT, submit reports to management.
- Prepare and continuously update SOPs.
