Details of the Job/Internship

Clariant is hirin for the position of Deputy Manager - Legal with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Navi Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and finalize a wide range of commercial contracts for the India region.
• Manage end-to-end execution of Confidential Disclosure Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements with global stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient, compliant, and standardized contract management processes.
• Draft templates, advise internal teams, and negotiate contractual terms with vendors, partners, and third parties.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely contract execution.
• Develop and maintain standard legal templates and documentation formats.
• Liaise with external counsel for litigation management, ensuring timely filings and case updates.
• Support disputes and regulatory matters through documentation, evidence collation, and case handling.
• Draft and review Letters of Authority, Powers of Attorney, legal notices, responses, and settlement agreements.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial contract management.
• Industry background in manufacturing, chemicals, or pharma is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Hands-on experience in litigation support, case documentation, and coordination with counsel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide stakeholders.

Salary/Stipend
