Infrastructure Development Corporation (Karnataka) Limited (iDeCK) was incorporated on June 30, 2000. It is a joint venture between the Government of Karnataka, Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited (IDFC), and Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC). The organisation was established to create a credible institutional mechanism for infrastructure development.

Details of the Job/Internship

Infrastructure Development Corporation (Karnataka) Limited (iDeCK) is hiring a legal professional with 3–5 years of experience to provide legal support for infrastructure projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support project teams in the preparation of tender documents.
• Assist in responding to legal queries and provide legal support in contract management.
• Draft, review, interpret, and provide guidance on project contracts such as letters of appointment, joint venture agreements, subcontractor agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
• Support litigation-related activities, including coordinating with external counsel and managing tasks within ongoing projects.
• Conduct due diligence and assist with contract-related decisions during project execution.
• Provide legal opinions to guide project teams in decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Maintain records of legal documents, contractual issues, and related decisions.

Eligibility

• LLB with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in drafting bidding documents such as Request for Qualification, Request for Proposal, and concession agreements for infrastructure projects developed on a PPP basis.
• Preference for experience in providing legal support for ports and road projects.
• Strong skills in contract drafting and legal advisory support.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
