Details of the Job/Internship
Jubilant FoodWorks Limited is hiring a Legal Manager – Litigation, Compliance & Real Estate to manage regional legal matters across the West & South regions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Litigation Management:
- Lead all regional litigation matters including civil, criminal, labour, arbitration, and property disputes.
- Coordinate with external counsel for case handling, documentation, and strategy.
- Assist in drafting and vetting legal documents, petitions, and complaints.
- Maintain case trackers and follow up for regular updates.
- Represent the company in court proceedings and support investigations.
- Provide strategic legal advice and manage dispute resolution, including recovery matters.
- Regulatory Compliance & Advisory:
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety laws, Pollution Control laws, Labour laws, and retail/factory regulations.
- Monitor adherence to central and state-specific regulations.
- Conduct legal research and track regulatory developments.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and training sessions for internal teams.
- Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Real Estate:
- Draft, vet, and finalize lease and leave & license agreements.
- Conduct property due diligence and manage stamp duty and registration processes.
- Negotiate agreements with landlords and legal representatives.
- Coordinate with authorities, landowners, and counsels for property-related matters.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with regional leadership and internal teams.
- Provide legal training and awareness sessions.
- Act as a liaison between corporate legal and regional operations.
- Prepare legal reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Coordinate with regional law firms and advocates.
Eligibility
- Strong drafting and communication skills.
- Experience in litigation, compliance, and real estate matters.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
Salary/Stipend
