Details of the Job/Internship
Nambiar Builders is hiring a Deputy Manager – Legal (Real Estate) with 5–10 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct title due diligence and verify land and property documents.
- Draft, review, and vet agreements, including Sale Agreements, Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Lease Agreements, and Vendor & Contractor Agreements.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, local property laws, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage land acquisition processes, including documentation and approvals.
- Liaise with government authorities, registration offices, and legal bodies.
- Handle and coordinate litigation matters with external lawyers.
- Provide legal opinions and risk assessments for projects.
- Support internal teams such as sales, CRM, and project teams with legal inputs.
- Maintain proper legal documentation and records for all projects.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of property laws, land laws, and RERA regulations.
- Experience in large-scale residential or commercial projects is preferred.
- Good drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and writing Kannada.
