Details of the Job/Internship

iBUS is hiring a Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Legal with 10–12 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day corporate legal functions, including policy formulation and implementation.
• Lead enterprise litigation and dispute resolution strategies to minimize financial exposure.
• Drive contract lifecycle management and commercial risk governance for all business agreements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, telecom, ISP, and licensing regulations, including reporting.
• Support Legal Counsel in M&A, investments, and domestic or cross-border expansion initiatives.
• Provide proactive legal advisory to business and functional heads to enable compliant growth.
• Manage HR-legal subjects and align legal operations with cross-functional business goals.

Eligibility

• LLB degree with 10–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to balance business objectives with legal risks.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and high-level negotiations.
• Deep understanding of current affairs and changing legal/regulatory regimes.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethics, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to be hands-on and take ownership of new challenges.
